Second-half burst carries No. 17 Purdue past Washington

Trey Kaufman-Renn had 19 points and six rebounds to help No. 17 Purdue overcome a slow first half and notch a 69-58 victory over Washington in Big Ten play on Wednesday night in Seattle. Braden Smith recorded 17 points, six rebounds, and five assists, and he tied his season high of five steals as the Boilermakers (14-4, 6-1 Big Ten) won their sixth straight game. Caleb Furst had career highs of 15 points and four steals and also collected six rebounds for Purdue. Fletcher Loyer added 12 points. Great Osobor scored a season-best 28 points on 8-of-9 shooting and was a career-best 5 of 5 from 3-point range.
