Excitement and opportunity are the words being echoed around the Stevens Center of late. Following its most successful season in program history, a 17-4 record and second-place finish in the West Coast Conference, Gonzaga’s women’s tennis team is returning all eight of its players and has full intentions of improving upon that. The Zags will look to dethrone perennial tennis power, Pepperdine, for the WCC title as well as claim a spot in the NCAA Tournament for the first time.
