New Orleans left guard Andrus Peat was carted off the field during the second quarter of the Saints' wild card playoff game against Carolina.
The Saints announced that Peat is questionable to return.
Peat, who played 88.5 percent of the snaps during the season while shifting back and forth from left guard to left tackle and back again, went down in traffic on a running play.
Trainers appeared to immobilize Peat's left leg.
After he was examined, Peat was carted off the field to cheers from the Superdome crowd.
With Peat out, backup Senio Kelemete entered the game at left guard.
