Robin Pflugrad couldn’t be sure he’d end up with another opportunity at the higher levels of college football.
Fired as Montana's head coach in 2012 as part of the response to multiple issues within the program and let go by Weber State along with the team’s entire staff after the 2013 season, Pflugrad has spent the past few years at Phoenix College.
Now, he is the wide receivers coach at Northern Arizona University.
“That crosses your mind,” Pflugrad said this week after practice. “Sometimes you are not the one that can pull the trigger for a job, you have to wait and see what happens.
