Georgia’s offense succeeded in moving the ball down the field through a mix of runs and passes against Auburn. The Bulldogs would move into the red zone and work their way closer to the goal line.
The goal line issues seen two weeks prior against Florida happened again against Auburn. Three times during the game, and twice in the first half, the Bulldogs failed to create a touchdown during a trip to the red zone.
On back-to-back drives in the first half, Auburn’s defense stopped Georgia from reaching the end zone and held the Bulldogs to two field goals until late in the second quarter.
