Michael Johnson is getting close to wrapping up his recruitment.
The four-star quarterback from Eugene, Oregon, told The World-Herald he plans on visiting a handful of schools over the next few weeks, and after that, committing.
And the first visit could come as early as this week. And that visit would be to Nebraska.
Johnson is the No. 4 dual-threat quarterback in the 2019 class according to the 247Sports composite. He said he is being recruited hard by Nebraska quarterbacks coach Mario Verduzco and Scott Frost.
