Quick look at Missouri's NCAA Tournament first-round opponent: No. 9 seed Florida State

The last time Missouri made the NCAA Tournament — in 2013 — the Tigers were matched up in the No. 8 vs. No. 9 seed game.

So, this is familiar territory.

No. 8 seed Missouri (20-12) will take on No. 9 seed Florida State (20-11) at 8:50 p.m. Friday. The game will be played in Nashville, Tennessee, at Bridgestone Arena, where Missouri junior forward Kevin Puryear hit a game-winning shot against Auburn in the first round of the 2017 Southeastern Conference Men’s Basketball Tournament.

"I've got some pretty good memories at Bridgestone Arena," Puryear said Sunday, "so I'm really excited to go back there.
