The Carolina Panthers re-signed long snapper J.J. Jansen to a one-year deal, bringing him back for his 17th season with the team. The team acquired Jansen in a 2009 trade with the Packers, though he never played for Green Bay. The 39-year-old has played a franchise-record 260 career games in Carolina, never missing a game, and also has seven playoff appearances. He was a 2013 Pro Bowl selection.
