GREEN BAY — The Green Bay Packers will open their historic 100th season with a Lambeau Field meeting with their longtime archrival: the Chicago Bears.
And they’ll end the regular season at home with an NFC North meeting with the Detroit Lions — a game which could have playoff implications after Green Bay missed the postseason last year for the first time since 2008.
In between, the Packers face a challenging stretch in the middle of the season, will avoid the dreaded early-season bye by having theirs in Week 7 and are slated for five nationally televised prime-time games.
