NORMAN -- Austin Kendall’s description of his last quarterback competition drew laughter.

While Austin Kendall was a freshman at Cuthbertson (North Carolina) High School, he beat out older brother, Ryan Kendall, for the position.

“It was the first or second game, and Coach said I was going to be the starter,” Kendall said.
