MOBILE, Ala. — Whatever discord took place last season among LSU’s coaching staff, the unrest never affected the Tigers’ offense, receiver DJ Chark said in an interview Tuesday from the Senior Bowl site.
Offensive coordinator Matt Canada and the school agreed to mutually separate just a year into his tenure with the program, one marked by a frayed relationship between the coordinator and head coach Ed Orgeron.
“One thing I really respected Coach Canada about it: He never brought anything to the team,” said Chark, speaking to reporters at Senior Bowl media day in Mobile. “When we were in the meeting room, it was strictly about football.
