KNOXVILLE — Compliments are a rarity for Jeremy Pruitt. It does not matter if it is a practice or a spring game in front of 65,000-plus.
Tennessee’s first-year coach was unhappy with overall effort, the fan turnout, blocking, tackling and pretty much everything else during the “Orange” teams 34-7 win over the “White” team in the Vols’ Orange and White Game.
Energy was the one thing he did appreciate, particularly from the first-team offense.
“I think the big thing is I felt a little bit of energy from the one offense,” Pruitt said. “Felt it on the sideline.
