No. 21 Memphis pulls away from Florida Atlantic

Tyrese Hunter scored a game-high 20 points, PJ Haggerty added 19 and No. 21 Memphis raced past Florida Atlantic for a 90-62 win on Thursday night in Boca Raton, Fla., in the American Athletic Conference opener for both teams. The Tigers (11-3, 1-0 AAC) kept Florida Atlantic at arm's length in the first half before Dain Dainja took over after the break. He scored all 16 of his points in the second half and all after picking up his fourth foul with under 15 minutes remaining. Kaleb Glenn paced the Owls (7-7, 0-1) with 12 points to go with seven rebounds.
