In a month filled with talk of brackets, buzzer-beaters and March Madness, there is another NCAA Tournament with bracket-busters, buzzer-beaters and ... "March Matness."
The NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships will be held from Thursday through Saturday at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland. It will feature 330 wrestlers vying for national titles — to be recognized as the best wrestler in the nation in their respective weight classes. Into this elite company, the third-ranked Missouri wrestling team (19-0) is sending nine participants to fight for the program's first overall national title.
Also on the line for MU is producing an individual national champion and freshman All-American for a fifth year in a row.
