Nigel Williams-Goss needed to be every bit as sensational as he was for the Gonzaga Bulldogs to take down the Santa Clara Broncos, 77-68, in the 2017 WCC Tournament semifinals on Monday night.
Williams-Goss finished with 25 points, eight rebounds and five assists, and helped hold off a surprisingly persistent Santa Clara squad that wasn’t quite ready for its season to come to a close.
A lot of that was because Jared Brownridge was busy doing Jared Brownridge things, which means he was dragging his team kicking and screaming to a potential upset.
