Pass rushers — 4-3 defensive ends and 3-4 outside linebackers — always carry a bit of a premium going into any draft because of their unique ability to disrupt an offense.
I wouldn’t call this edge class great, but it’s a good group with a bit of depth to it. Still, if a club wants a quality pass rusher, it better try and get one before the draft is two rounds old or it could be out of luck.
This year the edge class includes the player whom I feel is the best player in the draft regardless of position, North Carolina State's Bradley Chubb.
