Yesterday was the final day of “regular” summer league games, and the competition now shifts to a playoff style bracket because there is no accomplishment greater in the dog days of sports summer than a summer league title.
Before the competition could up the fake ante, the Utah Jazz elected to give Nigel Williams-Goss the starting nod at point guard. While Williams-Goss did get an extended run with 24 minutes of game action, he was unable to build on his 8-assist performance as the turnover issues that have been a thorn in his side this summer continued to plague him.
