On Tuesday, Missouri junior first baseman Rylee Pierce was named the Southeastern Conference's Player of the Week for Week 10 of the regular season.
This marks the second time Pierce has received the honor during her Missouri career and first since she debuted with the team during the 2016 season.
Pierce helped guide the Tigers to a stellar 3-0 week thanks to her outstanding work at the plate against Omaha and then-No. 8 Auburn. She batted .625 and led her team in hits (five), total bases (10) and RBI (five).
The junior first baseman started the week by tallying her fifth multi-hit game of the season, a 3-for-3 performance against Omaha in a 6-1 win Wednesday.
