Missouri pulls off first no-hitter since 2005 in win over UMBC

Catonsville, Maryland, home to the University of Maryland-Baltimore County, lives by a motto: "Life is great in 21228."

One of the city's five ZIP codes, 21228 would be about half of the town's population (41,567) if converted to a number — 21,228.

It would also be exactly 21,228 more than the number of hits the UMBC baseball team scraped together against Missouri on a cool Friday night in Columbia.

For the Retrievers (1-4), life was far from great in a 7-1 loss to the Tigers (8-3). Starting pitcher Bryce Montes de Oca and a balanced Tiger offense made it hell.
