Josh Hubbard scored 26 points and No. 10 seed Mississippi State routed No. 15 seed LSU 91-62 in the first round of the SEC tournament Wednesday night in Nashville, Tenn. Hubbard made more 3-pointers (six) than all of the Tigers combined (five), and Mississippi State finished with a 30-point advantage from beyond the arc. The Bulldogs (21-11) won their fifth consecutive meeting with the Tigers, all by double digits, including an 81-69 home victory March 1, their only win in their last five regular-season games. Mississippi State will face No. 21 Missouri, the No. 7 seed, in the second round on Thursday night.
