The Zags return six of their top seven runners from last year’s NCAA Western Regional Meet and add Fraley to the mix, who redshirted during the 2016 cross country season.

“[I’m] really excited about our 2017 XC team. [It’s] absolutely the most talented and deepest team in Gonzaga history,” said Director of Cross Country and Track & Field, Pat Tyson. “[The] Zags are feeling the positive effects of Fraley’s sensational NCAA All-American 3,000 [meter] steeplechase performance to end the outdoor collegiate season this past early June.”

Fraley, Max Kaderbak, Dillon Quintana, Jake Perrin, Scott Kopczynski, Kellen Manley, Jack Pearce, Sumner Goodwin and Kyle Thompson who Tyson listed as the team’s top nine runners this season, all have West Coast Conference Championship experience.
