The schedule features eight games inside the McCarthey Athletic Center and has the Zags potentially facing five teams that made the NCAA Tournament last season.
But before that, the Bulldogs will start the season with an exhibition game against The College of Idaho followed by a regular season opener against Texas Southern on Nov. 10. Four days later, GU will welcome Howard University, which enters the season with a talented recruiting class including MEAC Rookie of the Year Charles Williams. GU will face off against Utah State for the second time ever on Nov. 18.
During Thanksgiving week, the Zags will take part in the PK80 Invitational — celebrating the 80th birthday of Nike founder Phil Knight.
