Dawson Garcia scored 21 points and grabbed seven rebounds for Minnesota (8-9, 0-6). Lu'Cye Patterson and Isaac Asuma finished with 15 points apiece. Maryland shot 47.3 percent (26 of 55) overall and 31.6 percent (6 of 19) from 3-point range.
