Rodney Rice scored a game-high 23 points Sunday, including the game-winning 3-pointer with 7.5 seconds left, as visiting Maryland rallied for a 79-78 Big Ten Conference decision over Indiana in Bloomington, Ind. Rice, who was 8 of 13 from the field and 5 of 7 from 3, came off a dribble handoff from Julian Reese and swished his late go-ahead shot with a defender running at him. The outcome gave the Terrapins (16-5, 6-4) their second road win in four days, including one at No. 17 Illinois, after having none all season. The Hoosiers (14-7, 5-5) had a chance to win but settled for a contested corner 3-pointer by Myles Rice just before time expired that never touched the rim.
