Linebacker Shaquil Barrett, one day after being waived by the Miami Dolphins, is set to sign with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, multiple media outlets reported Friday night. Barrett, 32, hasn't appeared in an NFL game this season. He most recently played for the Buccaneers, his team from 2019-23. In that span, he earned two Pro Bowl selections, including one after he led the league with 19.5 sacks in 2019. Tampa Bay released Barrett in February, and he signed with the Dolphins a month later. However, he retired from football in July. Last month, Barrett filed for reinstatement, but he never rejoined the Dolphins, who finally put him on waivers this week.
