Lauren Betts racked up 24 points, nine rebounds and a career-high nine blocked shots to power No. 1 UCLA to a 72-57 victory over No. 25 Baylor on Monday at the Coretta Scott King Classic in Newark, N.J. The 6-foot-7 star center had at least two blocks every quarter and went 10-for-17 from the field for the Bruins (18-0). Her nine blocks also set a school record. Kiki Rice added 15 points, Gabriela Jaquez put up 11 points and a game-high 13 rebounds and Janiah Barker added 10 points and eight boards. The Bruins' bigs helped them dominate Baylor 42-20 in points in the paint.
