With several players who have been sidelined throughout spring practice, on Thursday, head coach Kirby Smart updated the status of Georgia’s injured players going into the G-Day spring game this Saturday.
Out
Sophomore defensive back Mark Webb suffered a torn meniscus and will not be available to play Saturday, Smart said. Webb played in 13 of Georgia’s 15 games last year but did not start any games.
“We expect a full recovery,” Smart said. “So he should be back, but he won’t be in the spring game.”
Expected to play
Sophomore wide receiver Terry Godwin was limited in practice on Tuesday and Thursday and was seen wearing a sleeve on his left knee.
