In his final home game, Julian Reese collected 19 points and 11 rebounds to propel No. 11 Maryland to a 74-61 victory over Northwestern, Saturday in College Park, Md. Ja'Kobi Gillespie scored 17 points and Derik Queen added 10 points and 10 rebounds as the Terrapins (24-7, 14-6 Big Ten) won for the seventh time in their last eight games. Rodney Rice and Selton Miguel, who also was honored on Senior Day, delivered 11 points apiece for Maryland, which avenged an earlier overtime defeat at Northwestern. The Terrapins overwhelmed the Wildcats on the boards, 45-23, which helped them overcome 18 turnovers.
