ORLANDO — The most common theme I’ve found since arriving at the NFL owners spring meetings in Orlando is unhappiness.
The Giants are unhappy with Odell Beckham Jr., and their fans don’t understand the trade of Jason Pierre-Paul. The Eagles are disappointed in the newest controversy surrounding Michael Bennett. The Jets were all in on Ndamukong Suh last Friday and then pulled their offer on Saturday. The Patriots feign disappointment to see Malcolm Butler moving on and are genuinely upset about losing Nate Solder. The Saints thought they had a lock on Jimmy Graham, while Jordy Nelson is hurt the Packers didn’t show him more love, and on and on it seems to go.
