ORLANDO – Nearing the end of the first day of the NFL owners' annual two-and-a-half day soiree at which they gather each spring to fix what’s broken and plan for a healthy future for America’s favorite game, no news was for the most part no news.
The site this year is the Ritz Carlton Golf Resort at Grande Lake in Orlando, Florida, and on a mostly cloudy and overcast day – hopefully no premonition of what may be next for the league – the owners remained sequestered in their meeting with a much tighter grip on anything leaking out of the room than Americans are used to these days.
