In his junior season with Cal, Jordan Mathews put up pretty impressive numbers. He was the Bears second leading scorer, and played the most minutes of anyone on the roster. Mathews is an exceptional three point shooter, averaging 41.6% from behind the arc last season. Along with his three point abilities, he also has the ability to get to the rim and finish. He is highly capable of sinking shots with a hand in his face, and is not afraid to get physical in the lane.
So what can the Zags expect from Mathews this season? Well for starters, the Zags can expect him to stretch the court and open up the lanes for the likes of Johnathan Williams III, Przemek Karnowski, Zach Collins, Killian Tillie, and Jacob Larsen.
