Kendall Hinton hasn’t had too much to time to work with Greg Dortch, but he’s learned perhaps the most important thing.
“Sometimes you just put the ball in his hands and let him go,” Wake Forest’s quarterback said of the speedy slot receiver.
The Deacons held their sixth spring football practice Friday, and the last 15 minutes featured a 30-play scrimmage — which was the first live action of the spring session.
On the second play, Hinton’s screen pass to Dortch turned into a gain of about 50 yards.
“He’s a great player, he makes the job a lot easier for a quarterback,” Hinton said.
