Hau'oli Kikaha has not played linebacker since his rookie season.
Kikaha, a defensive end at Washington, returned to his natural position in his second season, part of the defensive transformation between the Rob Ryan and Dennis Allen regimes.
Kikaha returned to strong-side linebacker in spurts on Sunday, in part to help fill the shoes of an injured A.J. Klein.
"Comfortable," Kikaha said. "Just a little refreshing my memory of playing Sam. The other guys have been really helpful."
Kikaha, who has been used mostly as a situational pass rusher this season and has four sacks, made two tackles in 30 snaps, a season-high for him.
