The senate discussed what they have been hearing from their constituencies about the lower Hemmingson project. The following ideas were stated:
The senate passed a bill that will provide $800 to sports clubs. $400 will go to the Men’s Ultimate Frisbee Club and $400 will go to the Women’s Ultimate Frisbee Club. This money will go towards registration fees for tournaments the teams will play in.
Dr. Colleen Vandenboom, assistant dean of student development, told the meeting about the university’s new online radio station. There is currently a contest to name the station and the winner will get a prize.
