Rising sophomore guard Greg Foster Jr. will be transferring to St. Joseph’s University, according to Jeff Goodman.
Foster averaged just 0.7 points in 4.6 minutes per game last season for the Zags, and struggled to find playing time behind senior point guards Josh Perkins and Geno Crandall. When he was given the minutes, he showcased himself as a steady, pass-first point guard, notching five assists against North Dakota State in 20 minutes of play.
In light of Derryck Thornton choosing Boston College over Gonzaga, Foster’s departure is something that will be noticed, at the moment.
