The Gonzaga Bulldogs hugged the coastline until they hit Venice Beach as they take on the LMU Lions tonight. It’ll be the 91st meeting between the two schools.
The Zags have won 16-straight games against LMU, and 21 of their last 22 meetings, including seven-straight in Los Angeles. Mark Few is 37-3 all-time against LMU, with the last loss coming in 2010.
The last time the Zags were in town, the then No. 1 squad coasted to a 90-60 win.
After tonight’s game, the Zags will have their odd home/away split next week due to WCC scheduling, playing the Portland Pilots at home on Thursday and the San Francisco Dons on the road on Saturday.
