Gonzaga University athletics announced a partnership with Campus Legends, an NFT marketplace that will highlight memorable moments from men’s and women’s basketball seasons.
Starting Thursday, fans can purchase NFTs featuring Bulldog athletes through GU’s storefront page on Campus Legends’ website. In addition to reselling or keeping for display, owners can unlock their own gallery to showcase their collection or earn additional rewards. A free NFT featuring the members of the men’s basketball team will be released the week of April 4.
Co-founded by Tim Tebow, Campus Legends provides current and former student-athletes a way to monetize their name, image and likeness (NIL) through cryptocurrency.
