The Gonzaga women were upset by the Portland Pilots at the buzzer of the WCC semi-finals back in March. Portland brought back the majority of their team and were picked to finish third in the league this season. Gonzaga still feels the fury of that loss. Two weeks ago, they dominated the Pilots to the tune of a 75-43 victory. On Sunday, they did it again. Kayleigh Truong led the Bulldogs with 17 points, one shy of a career-high, as they pulled off a convincing 79-61 win.
Gonzaga’s originally scheduled game with BYU was postponed on Thursday due to Covid-19 issues in the Cougars program.
