LSU's offensive line is returning at least one draft-eligible player.
Garrett Brumfield, a Baton Rouge native and fourth-year junior, is returning to school for his senior season after flirting with a potential early departure to the NFL. Brumfield made the announcement in a post on Twitter on Monday, the final day for underclassmen to declare.
Safety John Battle, a fifth-year junior and starter last season, announced Monday that he was also returning, somewhat expected news. The NCAA granted Battle a fifth year of eligibility over the summer, reclassifying him from a senior to junior. Battle started 12 games at safety last year, fighting through an injury-plagued season.
