It’s no secret that Michigan has one of the better defenses in all of college football. A college team doesn’t get to 8-1 at this point of the season without a strong 'D.' In the past three games, Michigan has only given up a total of 27 points against the likes of Wisconsin, Penn State and Michigan State. Hardly cupcakes!
Two of the better players on the Wolverine defense are fifth-year senior DE Chase Winovich and junior LB Devin Bush. Winovich will obviously be in the draft, but it remains to be seen if Bush will declare early.
