TROY – Troy inside linebackers coach Bam Hardmon has witnessed Opelika’s Zo Bridges contribute several elements to the defense this spring – maybe none more important than leadership.
“He’s had a lot of energy. Just his development, he’s gotten a lot stronger,” Hardmon said of the junior bandit (rush defensive end). “Really, really like what’s he trying to do as far as bringing some leadership, as well.”
The Trojans have lacked the services of first-team all-Sun Belt Conference selection Hunter Reese all spring as the rising senior from Wetumpka recovers from an injury. Reese, a 221-pound former walk-on, earned a scholarship last year based on his tenacity, work ethic and technique.
