Tabari Hines will play his final football season at Oregon after leaving Wake Forest as a graduate transfer.
Hines, who announced he would be transferring on the eve of the Deacons starting spring practice, picked the Ducks over USC and Texas on Monday night. He took visits to all three programs in the past two months.
Eligible to play immediately because he’s graduating this spring, Hines joins an Oregon team that went 7-6 last season and lost to Boise State in the Las Vegas Bowl. The Ducks feature junior quarterback Justin Herbert, who has thrown 34 touchdowns and nine interceptions in his first two seasons at the helm.
