Kip Daily played defense for Kansas State's football for two seasons.
Now, he's defending the public as an officer for the Carrollton Police Department in Carrollton, Texas. And he put his skills to good use Wednesday, chasing down a purse snatcher who attempted to flee the crime scene.
Daily made the chase a short one for the thief.
"We are all K-State fans at CPD today," the police department's official Facebook page wrote in a post Wednesday. "A purse snatcher made the REALLY bad decision to run from rookie Officer Kip Daily this afternoon.
