Super Bowl MVP Nick Foles appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show this week, his first public interview since helping the Philadelphia Eagles upset the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LII.
Foles said he thought about quitting football, but a Sunday morning in St. Joseph helped change his mind.
The sixth-year pro signed with Kansas City on Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2016, a week after he was released from the Los Angeles Rams. Chiefs coach Andy Reid talked Foles out of retirement, but it took him a few days in Scanlon Hall to think about what he actually wanted to do.
