The Gonzaga University women’s basketball team suffered a 39-point loss to Florida State in the final game of the Paradise Jam tournament on Saturday in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
FSU’s Ta’Niya Latson led the Seminoles (7-1) to a 95-54 win by putting up 22 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists to earn the fourth triple double in program history.
The Zags (4-5) were coming off a pair of losses to Missouri State and Texas Tech earlier in the tournament, with Missouri State taking the win by just one point. The Seminoles defeated both Missouri State and Texas Tech handily at the Paradise Jam before facing GU.
