While most might recognize him as the guy with a cool beard, senior Jake Vieth excels in areas outside of facial hair grooming. He plays first base for Gonzaga University’s baseball team.
Despite dedicating his time to baseball in college, Vieth dabbled in other sports during high school.
“Growing up, I kind of played all of them, like a lot of kids do,” Vieth said. “I played football in high school for freshman and sophomore year and then started focusing on baseball, and I’ve played baseball ever since then. Football, I just started getting beat up every night.
