Despite cold, Dukes are red hot in their Pro Day

A chilly 36-degree morning with wind blustering isn’t the ideal forecast for a Pro Day, but 13 of JMU football’s seniors made the most of it.

“The conditions, out there in 32 or less weather not the best way you want to throw into it, but I think I took advantage of all the throws I had today and I did pretty well,” senior quarterback Bryan Schor said.

While the conditions weren’t ideal for a Pro Day, it was a good simulation of what it could be like playing for the teams in colder climates.

“Obviously you want to throw everything perfect and not let the wind affect you, but there are going to be teams like Green Bay, or these other teams that play in the cold, play in the windy games and they want to see your arm strength,” Schor said.
