Demetri Goodson suspended by NFL for violation of drug policy

The NFL announced the suspension of former Gonzaga Bulldogs basketball player Demetri Goodson because of a violation of the league's policy on performance-enhancing drugs. He will miss the first four games of the season.

Most of the world knows Goodson as a cornerback for the Green Bay Packers, but Gonzaga fans know him as the guard for three seasons at Gonzaga, and one of the more thrilling highlights of recent NCAA Tournaments for the Zags.

Goodson played three seasons at Gonzaga, averaging a 5.1 points over 24.
