COLUMBUS — With a microphone in hand, Travis Fisher walked to the front of the room inside Elks Country Club as tables full of red-clad guests looked on Thursday night.
Nebraska offensive coordinator Troy Walters had just spent 27 minutes taking questions and breaking down the offensive players in the signed 2018 recruiting class. Fisher, the defensive backs coach, was next to speak.
And just like 2007 — when Walters and Fisher were players with the Detroit Lions as a a receiver and corner, respectively — the former defender and nine-year NFL pro wasn't backing off his man.
