The Dallas Cowboys are optimistic that linebacker DeMarvion Overshown might be able to return late next season after undergoing successful knee surgery, Fox Sports reported Wednesday. Overshown underwent surgery to repair three ligaments in his right knee, an injury that Cowboys coach Mike McCarthy at first said realistically could sideline Overshown for the entire 2025 season. The Cowboys are now eyeing mid-to-late 2025, per the report. Overshown tore the anterior cruciate ligament, the medial collateral ligament and the posterior cruciate ligament in the Cowboys' Week 14 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. Overshown, 24, was having a breakout campaign after missing out on his rookie season when he tore the ACL in his left knee during a preseason game.
